Presentations and opening ceremonies will be held in the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Mammel Hall (6708 Pine Street, Omaha, Nebraska 68182)

  • MBA Class in Mammel Hall with Lynn Harland March 17, 2015

The interior of the three-story, 120,000-square-foot building has many impressive features:

  • An atrium with interactive, touch-screen historical and informational digital displays
  • Breakout rooms for student collaboration
  • A two-story, 190-seat auditorium
  • Lounge areas for students to study and relax
  • A student-operated coffee shop and food store, Stedman’s Cafe
  • Bridges and skywalks linking areas of the building
  • Glass-walled classrooms and meeting rooms outfitted with computer hookups, LCD monitors and other technology to enhance learning
  • Laboratories for investment science, innovation and entrepreneurship, executive decision making and technology
  • Technology that will enhance the education process and accomodate a wide range of presentations

Mammel Hall is also green-friendly. It’s the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) gold-certified academic building in the state of Nebraska. All its signs are electronic and are powered down to conserve resources overnight. Outside, rain gardens capture runoff from parking lots to help remove pollutants and nurture a native garden.

Mammel Hall also has an All-Gender bathroom and lactation room.

Students, faculty, and staff will stay in the University of Nebraska Omaha’s Scott Village
